Run For Charity

The University of Hertfordshire, with the Abbeyfield Society, are offering guaranteed places in two of London's most prestigious running events in 2012 to staff and students.

Abbeyfield is a national charity, established in 1956, which provides companionship, services and supported housing to frail, older people across the UK and internationally.

There are places available in the Bupa London 10K on 27th May and the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 7th October.

These are great opportunities for students and staff to be part of these exciting events and raise funds for our valuable work at the same time.

The Abbeyfield Society Fundraising Events team will provide each runner with a special running pack and give help on setting up online fundraising pages - as well as being there on the day to cheer them on!
