Arranging your visit

Visitors are welcome to use study space and the University of Hertfordshire's library collections of printed books in the Learning Resource Centres (LRCs).
Temporary login accounts are also available for visitors to access University online journals and other learning resources where licenses permit.
Apply for a Visitor Day Pass
- Ask at the LRC Security Desk for a Visitor Day Pass. Bring with you photographic proof of identity and proof of your contact details (including email address and phone number)
- If you would also like to apply for a temporary login account to use University online journals (where licences permit), please do this at the LRC Security Desk when you request your Visitor Day Pass. You will need to complete a form and agree to the terms of use.

University of Hertfordshire alumni
University of Hertfordshire Graduates and recipients of other University educational awards automatically become UH Alumni.
If you hold an Alumni Association Membership Card you may use this for entry to the Learning Resources Centres. This will give you free access to University of Hertfordshire Learning Resources Centres.
Alumni who do not have an Alumni membership Card may apply for a Visitor Day Pass.
Business visitors and members of the public

We welcome visitors from businesses and also members of the public. Please apply for a Visitor Day Pass to access our LRCs.
Prospective students
Prospective students are welcome to visit the University's Learning Resources Centres on University Open Days and at other times by applying for a Visitor Day Pass on arrival.
Organised groups
The University welcomes groups of visitors by pre-arrangement to our award-winning Learning Resources Centres and prestigious study facilities.
