Campus updates
While we are working hard to bring our fantastic 2020 Estates Vision campus projects to life, we are working just as hard to keep disruption to a minimum. Building work will take place all year round, but we have got many learning zones that are unaffected.
Unfortunately some disruption is unavoidable, so we promise to keep you up-to-date with what is happening. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

College Lane Main Reception - Update
The College Lane Main Reception will be relocating back to the Main Building on Monday 9 September.
Normal opening hours will be resumed as detailed below:
- Monday – Thursday 07:45 – 17:00
- Friday 07:45 – 16:00
All Reception services will be operation as usual from this date.

Relocation – College Lane Main Reception
The College Lane Main Reception will be relocating to the Lindop Building Foyer from 15 July until mid-August.
During this period the following operational hours will come into effect:
Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:00
Friday 08:00 - 15:00
Download a map identifying the new location.
The visitor car park will remain operational throughout this relocation with permits issued from the reception desk within the Lindop Building Foyer. This relocation is essential to allow progress of the building works for the new reception and learning zone.

Closure – Main Reception lift, College Lane
The current lift adjacent to Prince Edward Hall at the College Lane Main Reception will close on 23 May.
If you require lift access to Main Reception, a signposted alternative level-access route is available along the D corridor and C150 transept.
A replacement lift will be installed during the summer, opening before the new academic year in September 2013.
Closure – Field barrier link road, College Lane
The service road linking student accommodation to the front of the College Lane Campus will close the week commencing 27 May.
The road forms part of the construction site for the new student accommodation and closure is essential to allow the works to start.
No alternative access road will be provided so staff wishing to drive between the student accommodation and the front of College Lane Campus will need to use local roads outside the campus.
Diversion – Pedestrian access route, College Lane
The current footpath between the houses on Roberts Way and the Learning Resources Centre on College Lane Campus will be closed week commencing 27 May.
The footpath forms part of the construction site for the new student accommodation and closure is essential to allow works to start.
Pedestrians will be diverted to an alternative footpath currently being constructed.
