Located off Junction 3 off the A1M we are easily accessible via road and are 5 minutes from the M25 and 10 minutes from the M1.
The county of Hertfordshire lies just 20 miles north of London, and is served by major road and motorway networks, with four of the UK’s international airports within easy reach.

Parking
Very limited parking is available on the College Lane Campus, unless you are visiting at weekends or in the evening.
Visitors are encouraged wherever possible to take public transport.
Park and Ride
The University has a park and ride facility, providing 800 car park spaces and free regular shuttle services to both the College Lane and de Havilland campuses.
Location: Junction 2 of the A1(M) on Southway (A1001) The Park and ride is located on the south side of College Lane Campus on the South Way A1001.
Timetable: The Uno shuttle/Park and Ride timetable, including service outside of term time, can be found on the Uno bus website.
By rail
Hatfield station (2 kilometres from the campuses) is served by First Capital Connect trains. Trains run from:
- London Kings Cross (usual journey time 22 minutes)
- Moorgate (usual journey time 40 minutes
- Cambridge and Peterborough (local services)
- Stevenage (journey time 15 minutes) connecting with Intercity services to the North
