Hertfordshire Open 2011

The Hertfordshire Open has marked itself out over the last eleven years as the definitive annual showcase for local artistic talent and last year over one hundred artists from across Hertfordshire submitted work. The first prize of a solo exhibition with UH Galleries, as well as other prizes, represents a substantial investment in Hertfordshire’s artistic community.

To celebrate the partnership between UH Galleries and the St Albans Museum Service the Hertfordshire Open exhibition will be held at the Museum of St Alban between 10 December 2011 and 4 January 2012 (restricted opening hours apply during the Christmas period. This year's selection panel includes: Ellie Morgan (Curator, Wysing Arts Centre), Christian Mooney (Arcade Gallery), and Matthew Shaul (Head of Programming, UH Galleries).
