Open 2009

UH Galleries’ annual open submission exhibition, open to artists of any age living, working or studying in Hertfordshire and Alumni of the University of Hertfordshire. The exhibition is organised in collaboration with St Albans District Council, Welwyn Hatfield Council and Hertfordshire County Council. Numerous prizes are awarded for the most promising entries with a first prize of a two-week exhibition in the summer of 2010 being offered to the best overall entry. 

Submission dates 27 and 28 November 2009. 

 The following prizes will be awarded as part of the Open Exhibition 2009:

• Under 30 prize (Awarded by Hertfordshire County Council)
  
• Best Applied Art (Awarded by Hertfordshire County Council)
  
• Welwyn Hatfield Prize (Awarded by Welwyn Hatfield Council)
  
• St Albans Prize (Awarded by St Albans District Council)
  
• UH Recordings Prize (Awarded by the University of Hertfordshire Recordings)
  
• Best Sculpture Prize (Awarded by Hatfield House)
• UHArts Prize (Awarded by UHArts)
  
• Overall Winner (Awarded by UH Galleries)
